French Quarter Apartments Ceilings falling in & leaking, no hot water, roofing tar dripping off roof (heavily) Wichita Falls Texas

The main problem with these apartments, is strictly the office personel. They lie. They are rude, s****.> Theres:
No hot water in select units. Ceilings are damaged, falling in & leaking during the rain. Horrible roofing job in some units. Tar/asphalt was placed to close to the edge of the roof, therefor it DRIPS heavily onto porches & patios. Nothing is ever done. Excuses like, nothing can be done, contractors are coming (& never do) When asked about our water bill (we pay our water) since we have slab leaks, there's a concern at how much the water bill will rise.. has been steadily rising last few months, however management says "not due to leaks" yea right...

sewage often "flows" out of an exterior pipe & into the grass by a particular unit. There's toilet paper all around it, surrounded by a mountain of luch green grass... everywhere else is dried hay looking grass.. instead of repairing things, generally, they "temporarily mend" most things or tell u things can't be fixed until it stops raining, well, then it stops .. & nothings ever done or repaired. Carpets finally spot cleaned only after heavy leaking from inside walls & out of fan/light fixture - drenching the carpets with rat/rodent-feces smelling odor. Even that angered me..

I come home during the carpet cleaning & my AC was turned on (generally off while away) & temp set to refridgerate & door standing wide open.. wide open.. I stood in parking lot for quite a while... waiting for someone to at least close the door.. ... finally left. & of course that helped with the already horrible electric bill caused by the 1 - 1.5 cm gaps around fron t& back doors. Still don't have power turned back on, or ceiling fax/light fixture installed yet back in dining area where leaks had been. That was last friday (it is now a whole 7 days later) window leak in bedroom still not repaired & stains & mushy walls still the same.

oh yea.. Can't forget THEY ALSO JACK YOU AROUND ON DEPOSITS & 1st months rent amounts etc..They explain how much you owe on deposits & first months rent (over & over again) was offered 1 month free had to pay 360 (half months rent) & 200 deposit. moved in 10 days b4 month was up. Was going to get the next month free. 4 days into that next free month.. we get a call asking if we are going to pay rent & to advise we have a late fee. I asked why since we had august free.. she tells me "well, you have to pay your rent from this last month?" I said.. well, We were here ten days so far.. You explained after paying all that I paid that I wouldnt have to make another payment until the 2nd month that everything was all taken care of..

"Oh no she says.. that was only your deposit. I advised her that was NOT the understanding we had & that I asked her OVER &^ OVER & OVER AGAIN! how much when & everything regarding any money owed... her responsse "well, why wouldn't you not know that you have to pay your rent?" like i was dumb... I was livid. I shoulda vacated right then & there. But I was exhausted from moving & quite emotional from everything that had ALREADY GONE SO WRONG>
Don't make the same mistakes that everyone else here has realized they made by moving in .
