The triage Dr on call committed what I would consider to be criminal and unethical acts to convince us to leave our dog overnight. When we checked in with her at 6 p.m. In the evening on day one, she stated that our dog still had a high fever and needed to stay overnight. The following day when I checked her chart, my dog's temperature was listed as stabilized at noon on day one. So 6 hours she was without a fever, the doctor said oh I just checked her chart, she has a fever.
This was an obvious lie in a scam in order to get several extra $1,000 from us. The money means nothing to us. However, being scammed by a low-life Petty criminal is quite upsetting. I wish that I would have reported this to a municipal or District regulatory agency when it happened.
