From the Attic Does not want to be held accountable, dishonest Phoenix Arizona

I hired this company to help me when my mother past away.  It was one of the biggest mistakes of my life.  The owner of the company, who I worked with, does not want to be held accountable in any way, shape or form.   She does not want you to ask questions or request accountability.  I did and was accused of all sorts of rediculous things.  

After more than 4 weeks from the time she was given a key to my house, the owner still had not advised me of any start to the estate sale.  Yet, when I asked her why valuable things were missing from my mother's house, she become very defensive and her actions were very "sneaky".   When a date was finally set, she cancelled on us that very day.   

In an effort to end my relationship with her, I met her at my mother's house to get the keys and a check for items she said she had already sold (all valuable items that had been taken from my mother's home weeks before).   She advised me of 3 items that had been sold.   She gave me 3 receipts.  

A few days later, I remembered another item that had been missing from my mother's home since the owner of From the Attic had been given keys to my mother's house.  There had been a beautiful sterling silver bowl on my mother's living coffee table and I remembered that I hadn't seen it for quite some time.  When I asked the owner about the bowl and plate, she wrote the following to me....."The flower arrangement was taken out of the silver bowl and it and the tray were sold. I believe the monies are shown either on the ticket with the painting or was put in to the silver ticket"

When I wrote her back and advised her that none of the tickets she gave me reflected the sale of the bowl and plate. she became very defenisve and would not reserach it further for me.   She expected me to believe that she had mistakenly told me that she sold only 3 items, that one of the tickets she gave me included the money she received for a beautiful sterling silver bowl and plate that she decided to sell for scrap.

Worse yet, when I submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, she replied by publically posting things I had told her in confidence about my brother who was the Successor Trustee.   She also accused me of all sorts of harrassment. which she substantiated with lies and incorrect facts.  

I hired another company and we had a wonderful estate sale.  The owners of that estate sale company told me that I was one of the best clients they had ever worked with.   I lost my mother to brain cancer and only wanted my mother's possesions to be treated with respect and find new homes.  From the Attic treated me and my mothers possessions like trash.   I would never recommend them to anyone.
