We had 2 bad experiences at Frontier Chevrolet in oak harbor, WA:



1. In 2001, I tried to buy a van at Frontier Chevrolet. I made the deal for a van, and then discovered that I did not have my license on me. I had to go home (at 900 pm) and get it. My family transferred all our belongings from our old car to the new van we had chosen to buy. When I got back to Frontier Chevrolet was told by the salesman (who was smirking) that my bank had called and said we need to make larger monthly payments. I knew they were lying, my bank closed at6 00 pm. I took my stuff out of the van and bought a different van in Marysville.

2. The new van needed a power steering pump. Since it was under warranty, I took it to Frontier Chevrolet for repairs. When we picked it up, I was told our astrovan needed a new oil cooling line. They showed me an oil line which looked like it had been chiseled with a hammer and a 1/8th inch screwdriver, saying that a bolt had rubbed against. While waiting for our van, a man told me that he'd had to bring his jeep in 12 times in the last 6 months i told him that I would be suspicious, if I were him, such things were called call backs.

After driving home, I finally remembered that our van did not have an oil cooling line.(no towing package) In fact it looked like the line they had showed me belonged to that jeep. They had probably screwed both of us with the same jimmied up oil line. When I got home, I was burning mad, so I tried to find the number to the BBB, but there isn't one in our area, so I couldn't report it at the time. BEWARE OF Frontier Chevrolet!!!
