On May 31, 2006 I contacted Frontier Pharmacies on the web to purchase a prescription.
On that day, they charged my account a "Membership Fee" of $19.95(according to the follow-up email I received). The correspondence didnt even advise what I might receive as a member. I was not given the opportunity to agree or object to this fee/membership.
On June 30th, my account was again charged a fee of $20.95 for a "purchase".
Keep in mind...to this date (July 18), I have yet to receive a correspondence or the prescription.
I called the number listed on my account and received phone number from a woman there to call the company direct.
Of course, there was no answer. I called the number listed on my debit account again, spoke to the same representative advising no answer at the number she gave previously and she referred me to the website and that she will email the company to let them know I need service.
when I looked up Frontier Pharmacies on Yahoo, I saw all the Rip-off Reports on this company.
It appears I have been defrauded and I require assistance to stop them from debiting my account again or hurting someone else.
I appreciate any assistance as my skills do not currently include how to stop fraudulent charges on my account.
Thank you,
Gina

#4 Consumer Suggestion
Denise is not telling the truth about the fees
AUTHOR: Andrea - (U.S.A.)

I got 2 confirmation "cancellations" of "membership fees" derived from their website after I sent them several emails from their site demanding to know why I was being billed for something that I did not authorize. Therefore, it is a lie that they don't have "membership fees."
Their email topic referred in each one a "RE: Order " and then a number that appeared made up, because I never placed an order with them, yet I got 2 emails with the same type of subject line.
The body:
"Dear Andrea,
Your order and membership to the RX Discount Club has been canceled and a refund
has been issued. This may take up to five business days to appear on your
statement.
We thank you for visiting our website and hope you will return again soon.
Customer Support"
The RXDiscountClub is AKA Frontier Pharmacies AKA LSM5-US-PAY.com. On Frontier Pharmacies website you will see that they will auto sign you up with each "order" a free trial membership with "CARD33.com" that you can cancel anytime within 30 days, but they do not tell you how.
RX Discount Club, or LSM5-US-Pay.com, Card33.com, or whoever they really are (they're all the same) doesn't care if you actually order! I didn't actually order ... their website crashed in the middle of the order, so I never got to finish filling it out, yet they "phished" my credit card info just fine, it appears, disguised by crashing code (internal server errors) and made charges under a name not called "card33.com" as promised on their site, and also against the rules that they promised they'd only sign me up after I completed an order, which I never did. I have a legit condition, a legit doctor, all info would be in order, but their website code was too full of bugs and it made me feel fishy about them. Their prices are "too good to be true."
Always read the fine print. They do openly say they will sign you up for a free trial membership which they will continue to bill you unless you cancel (right on their site) but they are erroneous about what service it is they are signing you up for, they lie about the cost, and they don't tell you how to cancel. They also wait 60 days to start charges, which is about the limit most banks have in investigating fraud charges.
Be warned!

Contrary to what this customer states in his complaint, Frontier Pharmacies DOES NOT have reoccurring monthly fees.
Frontier Pharmacies is a Florida licensed and Pharmacy Checker Approved mail order pharmacy. All prescriptions received, are first verified for authenticity, making sure that there is a valid, face-to-face relationship between the patient and the physician. It is not until we have validated the prescription that the medication is then mailed out.
There are only 2 charges that a customer of Frontier Pharmacies would receive on their credit card statement. The first is an initial non-refundable $19.95 processing fee that is applied to cover the costs accrued through the verification process, and in turn to allow for us to keep our medication prices low.
The second is a charge for the medication; charged once a verified prescription has been received by the patient's primary care physician (PCP). Both of these charges will appear on a bank statement as FrontierPharmacies.com.
As was stated earlier, Frontier Pharmacies is a Florida Licensed Pharmacy.
Frontier Pharmacies is a mail order pharmacy completely separate of the website where this customer issued their request for medication. It is an entirely separate entity, contracted to fill those prescriptions generated by the specific website that the customer placed their request from.
