Frontline Consumer Research Group When it sounds toooooo good to be true.... Trenton New Jersey

Well, I recieved a letter with a check from Frontline Consumer Research Group of Trenton, NJ today. Supposedly hiring me to be a mystery shopper. The check is for $3600.00! The letter stated the breakdown of the enclosed check is:

1. 3 hours probationarey training pay@ the rate of $100.00 per hour $300.00
oooooooooh, I like that part!

2. Funds for shopping or Hotel Lodging........................................$200.00
This is even better! I can handle shopping or hotel getaway!

3. Service Charge by Western Union/Moneygram...........................$150.00
What? This is beginning to Stink!

4. Required funds to be sent...................................................$2,950.00
THIS HAS SCAM ALL OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!!

TOTAL.....................................................................$3,600.00

No ligitimate Company would send a potential employee that amount and trust him/her to send the biggest part of it by western union, even if it is to test western union!

It didn't take me long to google the company name! Well, what do you know? The first thing that came up was the Rip off report! I will not be scammed! I heard enough about scams like this to not get caught up. There is no way I could even begin to cover that amount when it would come back to bite me in the ***!

I also did a reverse look up on the phone number given for the Ms. Rosemary Phillip who is suppose to be my assignment coordinator, it's unpublished. A Business phone that's unpublished. What's wrong with that picture? Oh, yeah, and the check is written on a totally different company! MAGNA POWERTRAIN!

Anyone reading this, BEWARE! When it sounds to good to be true, you can sure smell that skunk!

I am going to take it to the local banks so they are aware of this happening and send the original to the FBI or whoever I have to send it to. Too late to go to the Post office today, will find out tomorrow where it needs to go.

If we do what we can to stop these criminals in their tracks maybe we can help keep anyone else from getting ripped off!
