Fry's Electronic ripoff Sunnyvale California

In September I purchased a ViewSonic CRT monitor from fry's electronic with a rebate of $60.00. I send in my form and my sales receipt only to get a letter back stating that there was no date on my sales receipt. They gave me exactly 2 days to find the original reciept with the date. I know for a fact that the copy I mailed them had a date on the purchase receipt from the cash register.

I contact Fry's electronic to get a copy of my reciept and was told that it will take 3 business days to give me the receipt. I ask if i can come pick up my reciept and was told know they can not give me the reciept off the computer store that they need to retract it from headquarters and it can take up to 3 days for me to get my sales receipt.

I spent 30 minutes on the telephone talking with a lady who kept asking me the same question over and over. I would answer and she would ask me the same question again. So basically, I lot my $60 rebate and Fry's got what they wanted.

A second issue, was with their credit card. I never received a credit card nor a bill from them but got harassing phone calls to my job as well as home threatening me. I asked the several time to please send me the bill because I did not recieve it. Well they sent it 3 weeks later with a $30.00 late fee. How can you charge someone for something they never received?

So now we are talking $90.00 gone from my pocket and into fry's electronics pocket. Some kind of customer service they got going on there!
