I contacted the BBB, and here is the reply they received from Larry Kruse.
They refuse to budge. Stated that it is OUR fault, not theirs that they SCREWED us in the office that day..."telling us what we wanted to hear".
So, attorney general, news channels, newspapers, internet coverage, word of mouth, whatever it takes, I will INFORM the consumer of the 'shady' deals Bob Rohrman has to OFFER! BUYER BEWARE...To prevent 'misrepresentation' to you, the consumer..STAY clear of this dealer. I can see why these salesmen LIE now. They make approx $2300 on the sale, get their car payment made for them, plus....BONUS if they make Ole Bob enough money for the year. Did I forget to mention, they deal with these loan companies that move numbers around to make you see 'positive' figures? Tape record any transactions when and if dealing with this company. Best bet is to AVOID them at all cost!

I'll bet they make a sight better then $2,300 by the time all is said and done. How about that other post where the dealer stands to make over $6000 which is more like it. Posted a while back about how they give you X amount of dollars ON PAPER for your trade, where they're really giving you nothing then turn around and sell it for $2500 to $2900 and that's on an older vehicle. The newer the vehicle, the more they sell it for. $3500 to $3900, $4500 to $4900, it continues where they are really giving you next to nothing for your trade-in. Hell, look at the prices thet're selling the used vehicles for. Almost as much for a 2 or 3 year old vehicle that you can buy brand new, that they've traded for half or less. Gillespie Ford tried to give us $4000, trade-in, for a vehicle that retailed for $13,500, wholesaled for $11,000 and loaned for $9,700. I said nothing doing. Put it in the paper for $9700 and it went in TEN MINUTES. I got $5700 MORE then what the dealer was going to give us, more then DOUBLE. Frikking crooks.
