My wife and I attended a 2-hour presentation and we were told that at the end, whether we purchased the product or not, we would be entitle to a "free" 3-night hotel stay in our choice of over 20 major U.S. cities.

"Free" was not a correct description. A very complicated process. First we had to pay a $50 deposit to begin the reservation request process. Then we were told we had to fill out a reservation request form and send in a "Tax & Fee Deposit Plus Refundable Reservation Guarantee Deposit" which was an ADDITIONAL $179. Then we were told because we wanted to spend part of the time over a weekend we had to send them an additional $40 ($20 per night for Friday and Saturday stays).

A representative from Fun Rewards Redemption Center called us and stated that we needed to provide additional signatures and choose other destinations and/or dates as "Choice 2" and "Choice 3". The representative told us that the primary choice should be "no problem", and that the other choice options were just a formaility to fill out the form. All of our flights and sightseeing plans were made to the west coast months in advance, then 14 days before our departure we were sent the following e-mail:

"Dear Valued Redeemer, we have searched our available inventory for your up-coming requested travel date and we were unable to find any availability in the destination you selected". We gave them months of advanced information of our travel dates and destination and now with only 14 days before our depature we are left with no place to stay.

If you are offered a "free" 3-night stay for a no-obligation presentation ask if the promotion provider is Fun Rewards Redemption Center. If they are, I would strongly suggest declining the offer.

It is very difficult to contact them. They never provide a phone number in their e-mail correspondence, but I fortunately wrote down the number they called me from (619-308-6486) when they called requesting more information.

It has been a terrible experience.
