A friend of mine received a flyer from her job FDNY, which she said they've been getting for years, and so many people have used their services, and were very pleased. Im not sure if these people were suckered into paying, and didnt question anything, but its definitely fishy. The flyer had several options, including, cruises, and all inclusive trip including airfare.

I chose the all inclusive trip to Aruba for 3 including a child. I initally spoke to "Julie" from Zip Travel which stated that I will pay a balance of $100-300 per person which was supposed to be the taxes/fees for the hotel and airfare.  I paid a total of $570.00 as a deposit (only accepted check by phone), then $69 per person resort/booking fee, then another $50 per couple ( only accepted money orders). Once I received my booking form, and submitted my destination of choice, and later received a quote (which was only good for 24 hours, after you had to pay $25 to get a new quote) to pay the balance, however the quote that "Julie" initally gave me was now tripled totaling $1,059.91 per person, as opposed to the $300 per person.

I then tried to contact "Julie" and Fun Time Reservations and I got the run around, put on hold, and then having them hang up, so I never actually spoke to someone regarding the matter.

These people are scammers. Neither the bank or Wstern Union (money orders) will give me my money back, so its a loss.

Is ther a class action suit happening? Has anyone ever actually got their money back?
