Fun Town RV-San Angelo Liars, Cheats, Thieves San Angelo Texas

My husband was interested in purchasing a Winegard satellite from the San Angelo Fun Town RV center April 29th, 2013. I called to ask the refund policy before making a purchase. I was assured that if we purchased the satellite and it did not work (no stipulations given) we could refund it within 72 hours for a full refund. (By 2 employees, at that) 

My husband spent approx an hour in the store talking with the salesman-who reassured him that it was exactly what he needed and he would have no problems with it. And also told him that if there were a problem that he could bring it back within 72 hours for a full refund. So he bought the satellite. ($641.70!!!) 

On May 1, he returned to the store to return the satellite (that did not work) and was told that they would not refund the full amount but there is a 20% restocking fee. I spoke with a manager who told me there was NO way that his employee would have assured me that his employees would NEVER offer to accept the return (as it is their written policy not to accept returns on electronic items), however, he would refund the 80% and I could accept that and be happy before he hung up on me. 

I then called the Cleburne store and told them my issue. The manager, Raul Ramirez, was very polite and kind. He let me know he would look into it. He called me later and told me basically the same thing the first manager said (in a much nicer way). However, they still sold me an item that does not work, assured me I could return it, then refused to issue a full refund, all the while assuring me that their employees would not have said that they would refund the product.  Needless to say, they sold me something that didn't work with the full intent to keep my money!
