I recieved a phone call from Fundamental Consumer Strategies in the first week of November of 2004. This was a very conviencing phone call. They told me that if I put a one time fee of 299.00 down I would receive a credit card with a 2,500 limit.

I was told that this program was set up for people who had filed bankruptcy. They told me that with the interest rate of 1.9, I would be able to start rebuilding my credit. I was told that we would receive the card within 12 business days.

I have never received the card and when I call the number, the line is always busy. When the business day is over a answering machine comes on. No returned call. I recieved this information from my bank: AIG LIMITED 1-866-581-5774. The Bank that it was deposited to was Wachovia Orlando Florida.

I called that number and Customer Service answered they said they were a processing company that collected debit and credit card payments. They gave me the address that the company gives them to give out to customers: P.O.Box 625 Charleston,Nevis,West Indies. The lady told me, "This is definately not a scam Co. and this Co. has never changed their telephone number. You do not have to worry! You will definately receive what was promised."

Now I have found this website to verify what I was thinking, "I've been ripped off!!!" Thank you, now I can go to my bank tomorrow and fill out this fraudulent report. I was wondering what if the company denies this charge then the bank has to believe them and withdraw the money from my account and give it back to them. How can I prevent this from happening?
