I sent my son on a six week trip about Europe during the summer of 2008. He stayed at hostels during his travels the way I had taught him during our four trips there in the past because it is the best place for him at his age to meet interesting travelers from all corners of the world. He/We never had a bad experience at a hostel anywhere until his stay at the Funky Backpackers Hostel in Granada, Spain in July of 2008. The below letter was sent out to inform business associated with the hostel that there were serious problems regarding thieves at the hostel among other issues also. Attached is the address of the web site I created to expose Funky Backpackers Hostel in Granada, Spain as a place to stay clear of. The web site is just beginning and will in the coming months and years grow to cover the hostel itself and it's problems but also those of the city of Granada and the country of Spain. The site divided into three parts but will expand and be reorganized in the future to better tell the story. The web site is my gift to other travelers like myself.

To Whom it May Concern:

The below email was sent to Carmen Espinosa the alleged owner/operator of the Funky Backpackers Hostel in Granada, Spain to inform her that as I promised a web site would be developed within two weeks exposing the hostel for what it really is. This is just a basic first step web site and will be the first of many that will not only expose Funky Backpackers but also Granada and the country of Spain and the hostel reservation companies who fail to take action independently on their own to stop the promotion of this fraud. If this issue continues into 2009 I will turn the project over to hired specialists off shore to expose in detail every thing and every one involved in this scam and the only possible resolution at that point will be the total destruction of the business called Funky Backpackers Hostel. The choice is yours, either take care of cleaning your own house or I will at a much greater cost to all those involved.

Carmen, below is the URL for just the first website of many that will be for your hostel. It will expand and be put on the larger search engines as the months go by. In 2009 I will turn the project over to my people off shore to expand and to cover you and your employees along with Granada and Spain. This will take on a life of itself and I will give my people a free hand in going after you and
