This company advertises $1.99 for ringtones. It's not until after you put in your credit card info that the real scam begins. $27.00 bucks later and no way to call anyone, no email respones....I'm out almost thirty dollars. This company also does not provide the service. The ringtone lasted once.

As far as Funtonia advertising $1.99 ringtones then charging $27.00, it is because they actually advertise unlimited ringtones for $1.99/month billed for 12 months.  I can't say where the $27 came from, but it should be $24.  There are no hidden fees, the terms are clearly posted when you choose which plan you want.

I have used Funtonia for 2 years now (just renewed my third subscription) and I have never had any problems.  The site is user friendly, easy to download and transfer to your phone and the tones play just fine every time.

I would (and have) recommended Funtonia to may friends and have never ever heard one single complaint.  I am sorry this person misunderstood the charges, but this is in no way a scam.
