You don't even know how these sites really work, let alone have any license to tell anyone else how they do. Especially given how scant your information in your report is.

Otherwise, please share with all and sundry exactly how the site "takes your account information from other sites". I'd love to know.

Let me guess... you went to the site and probably got a ringtone or wallpaper to check it out. Guess what, if you did, that's all the license they need to start billing you via your cell provider, which you would know if you actually bothered to read the terms of sale and conditions on the site, which states that accepting content from them means you automatically accept the $9.95 per month fee they charge for their service.

There are so many people gallivanting around, using services and/or signing up for crap that's obviously too cheap to be realistic ($1.95 grant CDs anyone?) without actually stopping, reading and understanding the terms and conditions of the service in question, and then have the temerity to point the finger everywhere else but at themselves.

The funny thing is, I'm all for consumer fairness and rights, but when people start bawling their eyes out when it's an error in judgment (or worse, just plain laziness) on the part of the consumer, I find it just a little nauseating and more than a little sad. As a consumer, I actually feel bad for these companies sometimes who have to endlessly deal with schleps who will call or email and scream to the high heavens about their "rights" without once ever considering their responsibilities.
