Not really ripped off...

You were not really ripped off. You were charged $1.99 per month, for a full 12 months. I've used funtonia on a few occasions, and also was charged the annual price of $23.88. It does state in a few different places during sign-up that you will be charged for a full year, though it's in smaller print than the $1.99
I have about 70 ringtones on my phone that were downloaded from funtonia, which if purchased through my wireless provider, would have cost me about $175.00. So $23.88 is not a bad deal at all.
Good luck with getting a refund. They should provide you with one since you weren't satisfied with their service, even though it wasn't a true rip-off.
