I purchased 3 cats from this breeder. The first one we absolutely fell in love with, so we purchased a second. The second cat died at 2 years old after suffering with loose white stools,unable to gain any weight etc. We paid a lot of money to help this cat and our vet tried everything. Finally the poor thing died at the emergency vet after we found her curled up in her litter box crying. I was devastated and thought it was just my bad luck to have a sick cat and got a replacement Persian from this breeder because the cat that died had such a wonderful personality. I brought the 3 kitten home and my vet promptly diagnosed the cat with ringworm. I treated it and the cat is now 2 years old. Well the first Persian I bought just died suddenly last Friday. He had cardiomyopathy according to our vet. He was only 6 and my husbands best friend. Well as soon as I started the search for another cat this past weekend I saw all the other reports about this breeder and I realized she is clearly selling sick cats and it wasn't just my bad luck. I am very angry and we went through a lot of heartache over these pets. I am writing this to hopefully save some other folks what we went through.

We adore Barbara Lafferty gorgeous cats from Furrb cats!!!

We have purchased multiple beautiful healthy kittens from Barbara Lafferty of Furrb cats, also known as Furr-b cats cattery over the past 5 years! They are our very loving furry kids and we have never had any issues with Barbara or her kittens! Barbara is the most honest, reputable and proper breeder you can ask for, especially in comparison to other breeders out there!
Her kittens always come in a prestine coat condition, and loving personalities, as well an official health certificates and vaccinations/ and appropritate testing! I have visited her home as well multiple times, and its always very clean and fresh, and shes very welcoming and sweet, just like her kitties!
I have met a few other of her kitties as well, and they were in excellent health and had gorgeous huge blue eyes and very healthy beautiful coats! Barbara has been working with her amazing lines for many years and she has been breeding champion and grand champions and i feel very blessed and honered to have adopted our furry babies from her!

Im very sorry to hear you had issues with your kitties. Our experince was very different than yours.
