fxsound.com/ Steve Young Won't refund defective product SAN FRANCISCO, CA

On October 17, 2018, I received an email inviting me to purchase the fxsound enhancer product for $19.99.  I followed the link to do so, and after making payment, downloaded the product to my computer on which I already had fxsound premium.  The software was identified as safe by my security software.

When I attempted to install the product, it would not successfully do so on my laptop (Win 10).

That same day, using the contact us/tech support link on their webpage, I reported the problem.  I received a response (from a Steve Young) asking me for more information on the problem encountered, so I included a partial screen grab of the error message I received in a follow-up email response.

When no further responses were received as to how to make this product work, I made the decision to restore my laptop to a date prior to the $19.99 purchase of fxsound enhancer.  I notified the company of what I had done, and because the downloaded product had been removed, asked for a refund of the purchase price.  Now they have gone silent, apparently indicating their lack of desire to do the right thing.
