In an effort to effectively insure the most accurate and up-to-date professional information regarding my tenure at various firms was available online; I began contact lead generation companies that list professionals and correcting their information or asking them to remove my information entirely from their database.  Nearly all complied; some out of courtesy and others out of a commitment to providing the most accurate and up to date information to their clients.  I contacted Business-lists.com in the same manner as I had approached the others.  I received no response from them initially, save for one automatically generated e-mail.  Weeks after ALL the other lead generation and database companies had complied, I tried them again both via phone and their website.  I was told that it would most likely be removed the very next weekend.  Fast forward to a month later; and the erroneous and out-dated information is still there.  Apparently, they now have caller id as I can no longer reach them via phone.

Bottom line, they are not only a questionable and unethical operation, but I would caution any sales professionals, real estate agents or other professionals from using this company.  They obviously have no commitment to their data integrity and I'm sure my name is simply maintained along with countless others to exist as a sales tool to pump up the number of contacts in their "lists."  Any lead generation professionals or other professionals who rely on accurate and up-to-date leads to stay far away from this organization.
