Me and my fiance' walked into gage auto sales of milwaukie last weekend. We were greeted very friendly by salesman named Kory. We talked about purchasing a car for my fiance'.

We were shown a few, decided to talk about financing. We sat down with Kory and explained our situation to him. He said it was no problem at all. We filled out the app. and discussed cars with-in our price range. We hesitanly decided on one or so i thought. My fiance decided she didn't like it after all. They tried many times to get us to sign a paper saying if they got these numbers that we would purchase the auto.

The numbers were not what we wanted so i told him i would not sign it. he said ok we'll get them below this. but would not put it in writing but yet still wanted me to sign. I again said no, thats not what i want.

We then decided on a different car. one they said my fiance could not finance by herself. they wanted me to put my name on it also. i have a credit score of 720 and am very careful with it. i told them i would rather just go get a loan from my bank and pay cash for it. they then said i could just take the vehicle and bring the cash in within 3 days.

I felt very unsure about this. since there would be no contract or anything. We we standing outside while i was smoking and discussing it with my fiance'. when Kory came out and started to remove the stickers from the vehicle. i asked why he was doing that. he said it's yours. i said no way. i haven't said i am taking it and haven't made my mind up yet.

he then walked by me, said i was killing him. that it was bullshit and he didn't give a f**k*** anymore. outrageous. i thought this guy just cussed at me. i then went inside, demanding my drivers license back. they tried to withhold it and get me to tell them what happened.

i informed them i would never come back to thier dealership and would be reporting them to the BBB. which i also did. they then called me on my cell phone after i left and tried to sell me the vehicle at 500 dollars off, then 1000 dollars off. then 2500 dollars . he then asked if i would come back if he sold it to me for 1500 dollars. i told him i would not return if he gave it to me for free.

i feel everyone should know about how these people operate. they want you to conform to what they want and will demand that you take it. tell you that it is no better anywhere else. they also pull the gag of telling you there are other people looking at the same vehicle right now. fine, they can have it.

i will never deal with these people again. customer service is all and company has to sell. these people have none.
