For the first time since the purchase of my PT Cruiser from a dealership I took my car in to the dealership for a oil change. I had a coupon. Little did I know that the coupon would cost me $500. I lost my GPS, Bowling ball and 4 Graphite Rackets. I Called my insurance company and they said to file a police report. I did and they said they would contact the dealership. The insurance company dragged their feet. They said that the content of the car is not insured. I called the dealership and as expected the totally denied any responsibly.
The service manager admitted leaving the cars unlocked in the parking lot after they service them. But he said they have NEVER had this happen, SOOO my stuff was NEVER taken there and he refused to help me. I talked to the dealership in Muskegon and they said the ALWAYS lock your car when leaving it unattended. save yourself a headache and drive 5 extra mile to The Family Auto Center (Secured) in Muskegon instead of the Chrysler dealer in Grand Haven Michigan. (Wide open for the taking)
