GAI Media GAI Cooker, RediSetGo.com auto phone system to take order, no operator, added additional charges when you said no, wouldn't cancel Internet

I called to order the Express Redi Set Go cooker from the number given in the infomercial.  I should have hung up as soon as I realized it was an automated system, but I kept thinking it would just take my info and then I could choose to speak to an operator.  The entire phone conversation felt like a scam and greatly concerned me:

1.  It was recording my name and address.  Although it didn't show that it recorded my payment information, I assume it noted it in some way.  Recording my voice was of great concern however.

2.  It kept asking if I wanted to pay an additional X amount for this addition and that addition.  When I would say no, it would try to get me to change my mind.  I'd more forcefully say no and it would then say, "We'll just add that to your account".  I was growing increasingly frustrated and angry with the "conversation" because it kept adding charges, and ones that would add on more each month.  Mid phone order call I decided to cancel the order.

3.  In trying to cancel the order, I couldn't get to an operator.  It ignored the verbal "cancel the order request" which I must have said at least 20 times.  I then went online to find another number and it too was automated.  Finally, I found the number I entered into this site.  I got a person but they insisted they couldn't cancel my order for at least 24 hours because it wouldn't come to them until then - odd.  So I sent an email to the address on the website to cancel my order, but did not get a response.  I called the next day to follow up and they tried to offer me a discount.  I said, "what part of cancel is unclear? I do not want this item or any other item or any charges associated with it."  The lady put me on hold and came back with a confirmation number, but so far I've still been charged.  I'm waiting to see if it really cancels.

Be warned! This company is clearly not 100% legit and I wonder if what they are doing is legal at all.
