In April 2008 I ordered 16 stack chairs for a NYC homeless family shelter my church is creating a library for. I was told in May and then again on June 2, 2008 that there would be a delay in getting chairs shipped from the manufacturer. I have repeatedly emailed and called the customer service number and the president's extension leaving messages but no one calls you back. I contacted the manufacturer directly and they have my order from Galasource. The nice customer service person is trying to find out how she can help me solve my problem.
Today, June 23, 2008, I found some information on the web indicating that this company may be closed but they have been continuing to accept orders on their website up until June 22nd. The website now has a notice that it's no longer active.
They have high ratings on ebay where they were one of the stores. I am going to work with my credit card company to see if I can get my money back.

United Glassware & China Company on August 21, 2008 purchased certain assets from the Galasource Company. The assets have been purchased out of foreclosure from a 3rd party lender. The sale did not include the Galasource Company, only assets related to the domain name, content and website. The Galasource Company through its prior ownership, maintain complete responsibility for all company liabilities including returns, damages, purchase orders and all other sales related activity prior to August 21, 2008. United Glassware did not retain in any capacity the prior owner or management personnel from the Galasource Company.
United Glassware also owns The Restaurant Source, a restaurant supply and equipment company located in Denver, Colorado since 1951. TRS operates an 80,000 sq ft warehouse, along with a 15,000 sq ft equipment showroom and a current inventory of over 5,000 foodservice related products.
The Galasource website is now active and being operated by The Restaurant Source.
