Galesburg Rescue Mission Don't recommend Galesburg Illinois

Been told by staff that "I was poor because I was not right with god". The lady didn't even know my affiliation. There is a lot of sweets and bread, and often it molds within the same day of receiving it.

On clothing day, everyone is subjected to a half hour sermon / rant, sometimes being insulted for a whole half hour about how evil we are. It is an extremely degrading experience.

I meet homeless people around town that refuse service from Galesburg Rescue Mission. They are not doing their job, since there is no other shelter in town, there are a lot of people just stuck living on the street.
