First off let me say they have the worst and slowest customer support ever. Okay so one day I came across this site gametag.com because I was looking for a legit site to sell my world of warcraft account to. I filled in all the details and it said that they would offer me $651 which pleased me a lot so I took the next step and filled in all my contact info the account information etc... It has been 2 days now and my order still says processing everyday I go on the account to see if they have changed the information which they have not. Yesterday when I logged on I noticed that all my characters were naked and all there gold was stripped from them I thought this might just be part of there process so I just let them do there thing. Today I logged onto my email for the world of warcraft account and it said Account closure which means my account was closed for something. Turns out they must have been advertising a gold buying company on my account. They are a total scam never buy from them!!! Beware they will take all your account information and scam and take all of your characters items and gold then get your account banned. This is my order information.

They pay you first/have escrow programs

@EAM
I'm sorry but you're wrong.
If they were to pay any random person before they got the chance to inspect their account, then I would just guess that 50% or more of people would take the money and run. Didn't you read the report that eBay had to shut down virtual transactions because they estimated 50% of transactions were fraud. Now they ban your account if you try to sell on ebay.com.
It's a HIGHER RISK for the buyer than the seller in this industry. The seller has actions he can take. The buyer is limited depending how he pays.
My understanding is this company though will pay you first before you transfer the account information if you signup for their verified sellers program. In order to qualify you have to have some verified feedback on another website or live in North America and West Europe. So they do pay you before you transfer your account, but they can't pay any random person with no feedback. They also go through escrow.com and moneybookers escrow if you don't have any feedback.
So they do offer plenty of options for sellers to feel secure. It's up to the seller if they want to use those.

While i'm very happy to hear that someone has made some amount of money off of an account, it is very stupid to give them your account information without getting the money first. Not trying to be rude, but NEVER account information like that!

Everything worked out well after I spoke with them on Facebook Live Chat. Complete confusion on what happened here. I was actually bombarded with a few phishing e-mails which I thought were from Blizzard that week saying my account was banned. Only assumed the worst. Big confusion. The sale went through as i had hoped and received my funds (price changed though due to me listing more gold than I had on the original form which they explained). Would use again.
