Their infommercial and website suggest a 'free' trial if you pay postage of $4.95 for the Garcinia Cambogia Core; however, when you agree to the shipping charges you are forced to pay shipping for another product, African Mango Core, before being able to take advantage of the trial for the Garcinia. Supposedly you are given a 14 day trial and must call to cancel subsequent shipments of the product and charges within the 14 day period. After they have calculated the expiration for the supposed trial period the company charges your card immediately for both bottles, $75+ for Garcinia, $85+ for African Mango.

I ordered the item 8th December and was charged 20th December, 12 Days after the initial order so I wasn't even given an opportunity to test the product for the full 14 day period. The price for the products is excessive and no where in the profuse advertising for Garcinia Cambogia is the pricing or information stating you will be forced to purchase the African Mango supplement mentioned. Nor is the specification regarding the trial period detailed anywhere in the advertisement. You have to go through the entire process of signing up for the product before you are shown the details in 'small print' which you have to open and read thoroughly. Unfortunately I ordered the product late at night and failed to read the disclaimer as thoroughly as I should have.

Most of these 'too good to be true' claims by companies are simply that, there always seems to be a catch. This is an extremely expensive scam at $160 per occurrence. After writing my bank and telling them not to pay the pending charges I contacted the company's Customer Service at 3:30 this morning and was told my account would be canceled preventing subsequent shipments but the company would dispute the declined charges based on my not having opted out during the trial period.

My suggestion to anyone thinking of purchasing these 'supplements' would be to read everything thoroughly including consumer reports on efficacy and consumer complaints. As far as efficacy in my case, I have been using both supplements as instructed for five days and have only noticed that is has caused diarrhea, but no weight loss or decreased appetite. Another fairly disturbing thing I noticed was the first day I took the capsules I coughed shortly afterward and a cloud of brown dust that smelled like sandalwood billowed out of my mouth.
