Gardeners' Choice The recipiant of dead plants and out $120.00 Hartford Missouri

I saw an ad on Fox News for Gardeners choice advertising their tomato trees. I thought that was intriguing and I was seriously considering starting a garden to off-set our food costs in our family. My Son and his father-in-law came over with a roto-tiller and a truck load of compost and went to work. The result was a nice looking functional garden with drip line and now fertile soil.

After I saw the ad I went online and saw other items that look very nice. So I ordered the giant tree tomato plants, rainbow peppers, two orders of the mammoth vegetable garden, Strawberry combo special, little giant blueberries, Cherry hedge, and a fruit cocktail tree. Everything has come now except the fruit cocktail tree.

All the plants looked almost completely dead by the time they got them to us. We planted them first thing in hopes that some of them with live, but we are not very hopeful. The blueberry bushes were nothing more then a twig with no roots on them. Out of the three of them ordered two look totally dead, and one of them has some green on it, but no roots.

I have tried to contact these guys over and over again. When you call in you get either a busy signal, or if it picks up you get put into the phone queue only to be hung up on. I have tried to email them too. I have gotten no answer. I have no other way to communicate with these guys other then the phone number and email address.

Now I find that others have the same problem. I really wish I had checked rip-off report and consumer affairs before buying now. My only recourse at this point is to dispute the charges with the Credit Card Company and get my money back that way. I never again will buy from this company. Their products and their service stink to high heaven.

On a different note all the plants we bought from Lowes are doing great. They are really growing, their green, and flourishing. I guess this is just a lesson learned. In the future I will buy from a local nursery and never again from these guys.
