Gardner-White which is the Detroit Metropolitan area has the worst customer service. They can sell something but when something goes wrong they do not do right by their customer in my experience. I purchase some furniture from them, and to find out three years later they sold me junk.

Although it was brand name, it was made cheaply but they sold as if it was worth the money. I spent 600$ on three pieces of furniture plus paid 50 for delivery. Shouldn't delivery be free you spending over 200$ doesn't that cover delivery cost! The delivery man tore little snags on my furniture bringing it in, they rush bringing my furniture in. I immediately called about it and they did want to replace it, but it was too much of a hassle for a couple snags. So I wanted to have a credit or a free item I needed. They gave me the wrong item on that, and I just said forget it needless to say I did not capitalize on it.  I claimed that the furniture was clearly damaged on no fault of my own.

They sent an inspector out and said that it was my fault it was damaged and therefore out of warranty plus somebody misinform that it was still in warranty. Clearly anybody could see by the damage was not my fault, it was clean still had the tags on it, I mean springs was coming out, who can say that Oh I made a mistake and took springs out my furniture! So if it was in warranty I would have got really ripped off.

Gardner-White is a joke they play games and are liars. I believe the employees are trained to lie to customers, and the employees because they believe they will not personally get sued. Buyer Beware better off buying from Art Van furniture store.

We apologize you are having concerns with your furniture. Gardner White offers a 1-year warranty against manufacturer's defects. Based on the information you have provided you are beyond the 1-year warranty period. We do offer an out of warranty service for a fee. If you would like to take advantage of this service, please contact the store where the purchase was made and they would be happy to assist you.
