Gardner's Choice ripoff I had ordered a Tree and they cashed our check and I have not recieved the Tree that I ordered Hartford Michigan

I worked as a customer service rep at Lipenwald in Norwalk, CT. from May 7-Sept.22 when they fired me for reshipping to customers who did not get their items or received damaged or defective ones. This company operates under a number of different names, Gardener's Choice being an affiliate. I received so many calls from folks who ordered Royal Paulina trees and other items who had their checks and money orders cashed and their credit cards charged, and in most cases never received a thing in return. When I got my first customer servic call regarding Gardener's Choice I felt that I should address it myself, since we were listed as the customer service point of contact. My boss told me that I should not do anything, but give the customer the phone number for Gardener's choice and let them handle it. If that was the case, why was it that OUR company had the consumers monies? So I began to perform reships, making sure that we had the customer address correctly in Lipenwald's lower end, bug-ridden database. Needless to say, when they decided to can me, it was in part due to my attempts at helping the customers to get what they paid for. I am happy to be out of there, the owners of the company (Lipset family) are nothing more than money grubbing idiots who could not care less about people. My advise to any one who cares to listen, do NOT order from Gardener's Choice, or any of Lipenwalds other company names. You may get lucky and get your items eventually, but why make these losers any richer than they already are. Gardener's Choice is shady to say the least, you are better off going to a local nursery. I suggest that if all else fails you email my former manager at Louis@lipenwald.com and air your grievances with him.
