Look out for this fast talker, Gary L. Howren of Cartersville, GA.  Scammer, told me boat was seaworthy and a beauty. We covered the boat in great detail, everythign's fine. I send him a $5,000 deposit, he refuses to send any deposit receipt form or a bill of sale, finally admits the boat isn't seaworthy and won't pass inspection.  He says he won't return the money, he is basically stealing a large sum of money. He cleverly lies about the boat, induces me to send a major deposit, then changes his tune once the cashiers check is in his account.  So now we have to go to court to get our money. The DMV is very clear, deposits are refundable, (particularly so when fraud in the inducement is involved.) I wouldn't recommend doind any business with Gary Howren, he operates a fraudulant operation and his word is no good.
