Gary N. Moore, General Contractors I entered into a contract to buy two cords of firewood, (256 cu. Ft) from Mr. Moore. He delivered only 108 cu ft and wanted payment for 256 cu ft. , New Jersey

Since his truck was small, payment was made for two cords with the understanding that he would drop off the balance later that day or the next day. Mr Moore never returned with the balance of wood. The Department of weights and measures was called in to measure the wood and they determined that less than one cord of wood was dropped off. Mr. Moore refused to make up the difference between what's dropped off and what he was supposed to drop off. Attempts to settle the difference was not successful. Mr Moore walked away after being paid for twocords, but only dropping off less than one. Beware of this man. He likes to play with the numbers, charging you twice the amount that he delivers Blackwood

Mr Moore likes to quote you a price to deliver firewood, and then delivers only half of what you contracted for.  In my case, I paid $450.00 for two cords (256 cu. ft.) but received less than one cord.  The amount of firewood delivered was 108 cu ft. which is less than one cord (128 cu ft).  Attempts to settle the differences resulted inn nothing but small claims court and compliants with the police departement.  All resulted in wasted time and money. Mr Moore aggreed to a settlement, a dollar amount was aggreed to, but he refused to pay that amount.  Mr Moore likes to bully his way through the home owner, negotiating the numbers in his favor.  He attempts to brow beat the consumer, refusing to admit any responsiblity for the shortages that he made.

     Beware, this man can not be trusted.  When in court, Mr Moore aggreed to a settlement (a dollar amount)  but never paid the aggreed amount.
