Gary W. Hales Thomas Freeman Gold Import Scam Artist: Gary W. Hales 4225 Toledo Street, Coral Gables, Miami, Florida Internet

I met Gary on an internet dating website. While we exhanged life stories, Gary mentioned he ponded his house in order  to raise money for a trip to Australia where he would purchase more gold to be sold in America. Gary did not approach me with investing, but used my address to as a locatiion to ship the gold.

I was contacted by an "agent" named Thomas Freeman. Since I thought we were dating, I allowed Gary to use my address, but insisted that he send me documentation for the recent transactions. Gary sent me bank statements and correspondance from Thomas Freeman. Gary asked me to pay up front the taxes for the gold to release it from customs, but that I would not only get my money back but he would pay me a holding fee. 

Once my money was processed, Gary told me the money would need to be delivered to my house by escort. I told gary I was uncomfortable with the gold consignment being dropped off at my home, so told me he would send it to the bank and come to handle the matter in person. 

It has been weeks since the money has been wired, and I have no word when or if I am to recieve my money.
