Gates Chevy World I Have Learned that all Gate Auto work the same way. The Finance Manager who I told I was disabled, lifted the paper work up just enough to sign I trusted them for twice they screwed me. Mishawaka Indiana

1st issue
Problem i bought 2013 Equonox AWD, same problem sold me a bunch of contracts that amounted to over 5k, after 3 weeks of having the car he wanted my tax returns, I said this over and over I dont file tax returns, I'm disabled.
Then I ended up in the hospital that same week, I almost died. Did Gates care, hell no, not even flowers. The repoed my car as they say, but since its not a bank it Was Gates that took the car back and the 18k i put down myself I only got 10k since my mother took power of attorney they made her sign a statement that it was final and cannot be taken to court. I am a little slower than i was before but i'm not d**n stupid a loss of about 9k. I asked for my application for the loan and they said they dont use them anymore.
2nd Issue, I did not remember much before or after hospital
I went in looking around, almost attacked by 5 salesman. I drove the equinox, they changed the price and some standard items were no standard. so I looked at the Trax which was a smaller version of the equinox but close to the same price.
Anyways, I bought it Michael the finance guy lefted the contracts only up to the signature line, I thought nothing of thought he was helping me out, what a joke. I signed over 5k of warranty's. one warranty cost me $792.00 and it will pay for any $500 deductible.
It makes me puke to see people use your disabiliy against you, but its not over when are disabled you have rights and if your disabled you get more.

Nobody new if I rolled in on a wheel Chair, only he knew I walked in, and a consumer not knowing anything about this would NOT write this bull crap. You have investigated back in 2003 for the same stuff. Gates at it again

Being disabled has NOTHING to do with this! You got there, didn't you? Who was it who was signing the contract? YOU. Who was it who was obligating themselves to the terms of the contract? YOU. They lifted up the page only to the signature line? Anybody with half a brain knows to READ what they are signing BEFORE they sign it! YOU could have taken the contract into your hands and read it! YOU chose to not even read what you were obligating yourself to! Absolutely amazing!
You can put away the disability card and whatever other smokescreen you want to use because all this happened because YOU chose to NOT READ the contract BEFORE you signed it. You can play the blame game all you wish but the bottom line is YOU brought this on yourself.
Let me save you some effort. Because I've hit the nail very directly and very squarely on the head, don't bother writing back, "You must work for them", because I don't!

I walked in and said "I am disabled could you help me purchase a car" at that point you have should had said we screw everbody so I cannot help you.
My only mistake I made is walking in your business and thought I could TRUST you, you should had told me YOU CAN'T TRUST US.

First and foremost what consumer would write such hatred remarks about a disabled person; I nowhere said what the disability was.
OMG I couldn’t believe they had the balls to actually lie on a report saying it was from a consumer, probly a consumer who does not work their but is related.
It’s time to make the accountable for their actions.
Oh and by the way, non disabled consumers had you investigated back in 2003 for the same exact crap. Just keep looking for Gates they are all over this issue.
I cannot wait to see your eyes of the agency that walks in your place of screwing consumers.

As you can see by all the reports on here, you are correct, I should not have to the disabled blame game. The fact of the matter is you played screw me just like others on here that are not disabled. You were investigated for the same rippoff/scam remember that? In case you dont here is the heading
