hello i am a gateway health plan worker and i am posting this about gateway health because i was asked by a investigator to look into a patients record files to see what happend to a patient and her medical files from aug 2009 and above.  and we at gateway are trying to find out whom from upmc medical center reqested a patients records from all the way back to 1989 to 2010 and gateway has allowed that to go through then all the records was not available to us and when contacting that patient she told me that she was told that no records was available to her and may have been destroyd and  back in aug of 2010 we do know that gateway health plan workers in the grant street office  has gave all the patients files to the reqested group. at magee woman hospital we have recieved a letter from a unknown person saying that on aug 4th of 2009 one of our consumers has been tourtured for atleast 8 hours in aoperating room and they had 19 pictures in the envelope of a patient inside a room that didnt look the same as a operating room and several medical staff members laughing and 3 feet away from the patient while patient was  opin and very disturbing to me. the reason i mentioned this is because looking through the patients files without the other workers present  and i saw that back in  on aug 4th of 2009 we was billed for a hysterectomy that was compleated on her and saw also that the patient has filed complaints on medical staff in the upmc network and then also we was billed on aug 5th for a hysterectomy/intestine sergery both was for 49.000 dollars this cant be possibule but was paid back in aug of 2010 also the patient has filed a complaint about a ex doctor of upmc has threatened her about a complaint that was filed and on the 5th that patient was taken into a room and sadated for only a test but her son was in the waiting room for 8 hours waiting but had no respond on how and what was going on with his mom no operation would not be repeated 2 days in a row and on aug 4th as we new she had a hiterectomy which only lasted 2 and half hours  we dont know what was done to the patient for 8 hours on the 5th day of aug 2009 and we dont exactly know who allowed 49.000 dollars to be paid for that day  i ask that you help out with this because the patient could be in great danger  and back in aug of 2010 this patient was denied all her medical records from 1989 through 2009 we keep the files that we are billed for and the patients imformation. maybe with this report out it will bring our workers and other medical staff come forward with the truth .
