Geoff Caruso is a scam artist. Here was his inital letter to me:
Joe,
I am founder and principal of GC Capital. I am a private lender offering short term, high yield, asset backed loans. We lend on RE, jets, yachts, fine art, jewelry, corporate receivables and professional athletic contracts.
My attorney’s name is Uri Litvak. He can be reached at 347.464.0694.
I am traveling however feel free to call me on my mobile anytime to ask me questions. I will be working for the next few hours if you wish to contact me tonight. Thanks

He then went on to request $14,000 to complete an appraisal of some assets that he promised to lend against.
He took the funds and never produced anything. This was 6 years ago and since then it has been excuses and a whole lot of hot air.
Do not do business with Geoff Caruso!
