They RIPPED me off!! I was told to purchase $600 in iTunes cards which is 1 of the only 2 options to pay in order to release a federal government hold of my fiance money and they claim the cards weren't redeemed, iTunes customer service said the cards were REDEEMED. The Guy who goes by "Alex" claimed they weren't legit and the iTunes cards were REDEEMED before we gave him the card numbers. MY FIANCE NOW HAS ME SUCKED INTO THIS SCAM BECAUSE I BELIEVED HE CAPTIOL WOULD RELEASE THE "FEDERAL HOLD" OF HIS MONEY. I'M STILL TRYING TO GET MY MONEY BACK AND ALEX AND HIS THEIVEN FRIEND NANCY WON'T RESPOND TO ANY OF MY TEXTS MY CALLS AND MY VOICEMAILS CONCERNING THIS IS MATTER. I'm pissed!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND my fiance wants all his money back, they even told me I have to pay another $100 DOLLARS to get my money back without telling me why. I NEVER CONTACTED THEM FOR A LOAN MY FIANCE DID, IM NOT UNDER A CONTRACT THEY DONT HAVE MY BANKING INFORMATION...I DID THIS TO TRY TO HELP MY FIANCE GET HIS MONEY HE WAS PROMISED. They are scammers - don't contact them in any way

GE Capitol doesn't make personal loans at all - period.

You were scammed by someone that used the GE Capital name and the very old trick of having you upload funds to a iTunes card and then provide the card into to the scammer.

Never, ever pay upfront fees for a loan. It appears your fiancee did the same thing with the same people and he was ripped off so in turn he gave the scammers your name to pay more funds and the rip off continued.

Go to FTC.gov and read all about financial scams so you can recognize them and not fall for any other scam in the future. There never was a loan for your fiancee and they are experts at making up excuses to have you put money on a pre-paid type card and then giving the card info to the scammer.

Naturally the scammer is lying when they said that the cards were redeemed before you gave Alex the information from the card. The whole reason Alex asked you for the card info is to get the funds from the card. That is the point of the scam. It's a neat trick that he turned it around on you and claimed the funds were redeemed before you gave him the info. He's lying. In any event, the money is gone. Go to the FTC.gov website and see if you can report the scammers but I doubt you will ever see your funds. Learn what to look for to avoid these scams in the future.

By the way, this loan scam has been around for a very long time under many names. Learn to recognize the pattern so you don't fall for it again.
