If you go to your dentist, chances are you will be offered the chance to pay your bill using GE Care Credit. Do yourself a favor... take out a loan or get a special credit card for this purpose, don't use these guys. First off, you can't pay your bill online using a debit card. I have an HSA debit card that I use for all my medical bills. Instread, they want you to use a checking account.

Next, they want ten dollars just to talk to you on the phone. Wow. The alternatives that they offered to using a checking account to pay is using Western Union and paying a fee.

Western Union is okay for people who don't have any other resources but it reeks with total sleaze. So does GE Care Credit.
