General Electric appliances are horrible...JUNK. Do not purchase this garbage! In all their infinite wisdom, they decided that having complex, computer "brains" in microwaves, refrigerators, and even stoves, was somehow a great idea! Wow...are they ever WRONG. Bought a microwave that died in 3 months.  And their repair process is even worse than the product! They send out a

technician who either replaces the wrong part (without giving any money back when it's discovered), or tells you that he doesn't have the part (they almost never do), and that it will be a week before he can come back and fix the appliance. Now, get this...if the parts don't come in fast enough, or you just can't be home all day waiting on them, and 30-days go past, THEY WILL CHARGE YOU ANOTHER $100.00 as a "visit" fee! Even better, after FOUR times coming out to repair my refrigerator, they finally got it kinda working, and charged for every single part used and 3 visits, a whopping $1100.00 in costs! GE Appliance Repair are CROOKS!  I called their Customer Service line and was told repeatedly, "NO...we will NOT be giving you any money back for the repair that we did NOT do."  WOW!  So I called my VISA card, and they gave me the whopping $444.36 back on the first repair that did not work, but then sent me a letter later, telling me that the repairs were "AUTHORIZED."  Ummm...huh?  There is big difference between authorizing a repair and authorizing charges for a repair THAT DOESN'T WORK!  Does anybody have any idea what I can do?  I need help with this.  I cannot afford to pay money for a repair that didn't happen.
