Bought my e-machine from Circuit City with an additional 64 mg of memory added BEFORE they processed my credit card to purchase same.
Now the extra 64 mg. of memory card has failed and Computer Support Plus says GE Zurich will not honor the warranty and replace the memory because it was not the "original memory" on the machine.
Circuit City's Computer Support Plus Warranty Paper says it covers a complete system, including desktop PC, monitor, keyboard, mouse, AND printers, scanners, "extra memory", etc., virtually any hardware that you buy with your basic system.
Now I have to find a friend that has a fax machine to appeal the warranty with GE Zurich Waranty Managment Customer Relations. Why did I pay $189.99 for the Service Plan????????
