Hi! I'm writing to hopefully get my situation corrected and keep my Gap Visa account. I made an additional pymt over my normal monthly pymt last month. I thought nothing of it until I logged into my Gap Visa account and noticed a returned pymt. I then checked online and contacted my bank. It seems that I didn't update my checking account info on the Gap website with my new account info. As soon as I realized the mistake, I transferred money over to this account immediately. I also paid my balance of $300+ in full. What concerned me is in red on the left hand of the screen it says my account has been closed for purchases. I tried to make a mock charge and it was declined. I want to resolve this situation and prevent my account from being closed. I have worked long and hard on my credit and want to keep this account so I can continue using it at the Gap and other places that accepts Visa. Please help me retain this account and not close it.
