GE Capital has an Installment Loan Program that Helps Company's market their products, but use their Retail Sales Finance division to carry the loan. On 11/03/04 I accepted and signed a contract thru GE Capital Consumer Card Co. for 12 month Same as Cash agreement on behalf of Energy Improvements. At the time of contract an authorization code was provided by GE Capital and given to the Salesman for the promotional 12 month same as cash arrangement. However, when we received our statement, it was not correct and a call was immediately made to GE Capital regarding the interest charges. According to Kari the correct promotional code had not been entered and to contact the company (Energy Improvement) and have them resubmit the paperwork with the correct promotional code. Within two days Energy Improvements contacted us and said they had resent the paperwork to GE Capital. Now GE capital tells us they changed the agreed to rate on their. This was not agreed to with GE Capital and they are not honoring the original contract and charging interest of 15% without my consent. I have noticed they currently have an unsatisfactory rate with you and have numerous complaints on the www.ripoffreport.com site. I expect GE to honor my original agreement of 12 months same as cash agreement.
