GE Money Bank - Wal Mart Visa Gift Card These cards are a rip off Nationwide

I purchased a Wal Mart Visa gift card in which to purchase medication online, I tried to use my card but the company I tried to order from declined the card stating they did not accept the gift cards but the money was still taken off the card I have tried numerous times to get the money put back on the card with no luck, the gift card company states the money will be credited back to the card in 17 days, why should a person have to wait that long when the transaction was declined. I then was not happy with that explanation so I went in on line to the lost or reported stolen section and went under other explanation and filed a report about what had happened, and stated my card was not lost or stolen I just wanted some sort of action taken to have my money replaced, this was not a good idea I soon found out, because now I am being told that my card was no longer any good and was told I would have to wait for a new card to be issued and will probably be charged a $5.00 charge for a new card. I explained to customer service that my report plainly said that my card was not lost or stolen it didn't matter to them, I was told I would still have to wait. Why are these people allowed to play with other people's money for so long, and not have to offer some kind of solution that does not take weeks or even months. I do not know if I will ever see a new card for the original amount purchased or if the money will ever be credited.

When you purchase these cards you are required to pay the amount at the time of purchase, but the company does not have to rectify a problem right away, it is not right.
