GE Money Credit Cards - Gemoney.com If you pay early they will charge you a late fee?? How is that possible Internet

I opened an account at HHGregg in Charlotte NC, to purchase a washer and dryer, in Janurary of this year,2008. They finance using GE Money. Below is a statement of my payment history, payment is due on the 28th of each month
2/15 Feb. payment made
3/14 March payment made
4/01 April payment made
5/01 May payment made
5/30 June payment made
7/01 July payment made
8/01 Aug. payment made
9/01 Sept. payment made

Well apperanently because i paid on the first for April they applied that I made 2 payments in March and they have charged me a late payment fee of 39.00 every month after that, 234.00 total. Now i agree that i do not look at my paper statements, and i should, but i do look on line to see if my payment was applied and the date it was applied. i looked today at my balance to see what my payoff amount was and noticed the late fee and noticed that they go all the way back to April. I called customer service and was told that they will not refund because my payments were late. i explained that I thought I was paying ahead every month and I pay more than the minimum amout every month. i am a good customer i always pay on time to my knowledge if noit ahead of time and i always pay more than the minimum amount. I guess that is my problem i pay them so they will squeeze any way possible to try and get extra money out of me because i am responsible.

The moral of the story dont pay your credit cards on time!!!
