I have a current claim open with Geico. The incident that occurred resulted in very minor cosmetic damage to the other driver's vehicle. I have pictures from the incident of all angles of their vehicle. However, Geico has allowed the other party to obtain a fraudulent quote for their vehicle, as it relates to the minor cosmetic damage resulted from our incident, and has paid the other party way more than needed for minor cosmetic damage.

Geico has paid out $7500 to the other party, and is still allowing the other party to possibly submit/claim bodily injury as well! I have pictures from the incident...the "damage" is literally a 'ding' to the other party's front bumper. Definitely not $7500 worth of damage and definitely no bodily injury, as reported in the Police Report from the incident. I have been a customer with Geico for 6 years, paying way above average premiums, compared to other insurance providers, for minimal state coverages. Not only would I expect my insurance company to protect me...their consumer...but to also not allow others to claim fraudulent information and be complied to.

I have submitted this same information to the Better Business Bureau. I am beyond disappointed in the way that I, the consumer, is being handled in this situation.

First, you can "file” whatever you want with the BBB. People who know are just going to laugh. The BBB is NOT part of ANY government body...the BBB is NOT part of ANY law enforcement body despite they call themselves "the bureau” as a direct attempt to DECEIVE the public.

The ONLY purpose of the BBB is to SELL their PHONY ratings and PHONY accreditations. FORGET the BBB. They have absolutely ZERO POWER to force ANY business to do anything! Your best bet would be to contact your insurance commissioner. DO NOT pass on this!
