Genco Marketplace Salvage Sold as "Uninspected Returns" Pittsburgh. PA Internet

I purchased an online lot of drills (cost about $1,300) from Genco Marketplace, clearly advertised as "uninspected returns." I purchased a second lot of saw tools on the same day.  The saw lot was lost in shipping.  When the other lot arrived, it was clearly marked on the side of the box as "salvage."

I contacted Genco customer service about the issue.  After three weeks, they finally issued a credit for the lost shipment. 

When asked about the salvage lot being misrepresented as "uninspected returns," GENCO indicated that the lot should "have never gone out" to me.  

Working with GENCO customer service, the offer for settlement came in (for the salvage drills)- a $400 credit for another GENCO purchase, or a $200 refund on my credit card.  Really?  The drills are complete garbage and I can't even sell most of them.  So, instead of treating their buyers with respect and offering a reasonable refund, I get an offer for a $200 credit to my card.  That won't even cover the shipping.

Now, since the resolution from GENCO is wholly substandard, I have asked (in accordance with the GENCO User Agreement) for the case to go to an arbritrator.  Genco is now refusing to accomodate even this request.

I am in the process of writing to my state's attorney general's office and other agencies about this company.  Please do your research and BEWARE when deailing with GENCO.  I have not had a good experience with them and would recommend that you don't risk throwing good money after bad.
