General House Hold Labor Destroyed belongings and refuses to be accountable Schaumburg Illinois

I hired this company to load my u-haul. The day of the move the movers were an hour late and high. I had errands to run and our husband was watching our baby so we couldn't watch over these guys. Upon getting to our destination the labor guys who unloaded our truck told us whoever loaded it just shoved stuff into the truck. They packed 50 lb boxes on top of boxes labeled as fragile. I told them NOT to take apart our beds and not only did they take apart our beds but they lost half of the pieces. I had a hole through my coffee table, broken China, dressers were broken, a Persian rug was crumpled up and just shoved in, a huge tear was made in the back of our leather sofa, and much more.

I contacted the owner, I explained what I was seeing as the new movers were unloading the truck, I even had one of them tell her how bad it was, and she told me to email her the pictures. I did and tried contacting her for two weeks by phone and again through email but she avoided me like the plague. I finally got ahold of her and she said it happens and is common in long distance moves. I told her it doesn't if the movers load the truck correctly as I have had several long distance moves without an issue.

Moving a truck doesn't magically put 50 lb boxes on top of fragile boxes, it doesn't destroy your bed frames bc someone took them apart wrong and didn't bother to try to put it together before loading them up. Moving doesn't break legs off of dressers or bend bed frame pieces in half! Moving a truck also doesn't crumple up your stuff such as a valuable Persian rug, which is a family heirloom and shove them into small spaces. After I told this woman it wasn't from the move she screamed at me, "IM NOT A LIAR!!!" And then she hung up on me. I tried calling back and I have even left reviews on other sites, which Michelle (the owner) has flagged/deleted.
