I bought a 1997 pontiac gran prix and then I got a recall on the car. I took it to the dealer and they fixed the first item on the recall told me they had to order a part to finish the recall so I kept calling the dealer to see if the part came in they said no. after 3months I called again and talked to the svc dept and they finally said the part is not made anymore so I called gm and they told me they would contact the dealer. then I got a call from the dealer and they said gm wont cover the repair due to the fact that the part is not available the rack and pinion would have to be changed and because gm wont cover it then I had to pay 1000'00 the recall on any car should be reparied gm shame on you. Then for the dealer they never told me the part that is not made anymore was in the steering and is very dangerous to drive could go out and you would get into an accident and I had my grandkids in the car alot shame on the dealer they are both very wrong
