General Transmission Consumer Beware!! These are Scam artists and will charge you more then the quote! Kent, Washington

If you do not listen to my warning make sure you have everything in writing before they do anywork as they like to change their estimates. They told me a high of $2,800 to fix my transmission and a low of $2,100. I called them to stop the job which they agreed they would stop and hadn't started yet, then when I called them back an hour later and told them the dealership I purchased the car at was going to do it for less with a longer warrantee and to tow it there they told me they already took out the transmission and in order to get the car back I would have to pay them $900 cash! For doing nothing!! Then they told me if I left it there and had them do the job it would be $3400 ($600 more then their high end estimate). They are seriously disgusting liars and to top it off they knew I was going in for breast cancer surgery the next day and still did this to me. I honestly have never met such horrible human beings in my entire life. My dealership came and towed the car for me...General Transmission put the transmission in a box in my trunk. Don't let the 5 star better business bureau rating fool you..thats just something you pay an annual fee to get....go to this place and check it out yourself, it speaks for itself. And yes, they definitely take advantage of women!!
