The Customer is NOT always RIGHT! DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE. THIS WOMAN IS A THEIF AND UNETHICAL. This is what I learned from my experience at Genesis Hair Salon. The owner and stylist, Francesca Espinosa is quite unprofessional. After walking out of her salon on Saturday afternoon, I felt satisfied with the highlights...until I got home. She made one side of my head completely platinum using bleach, and the other side was brown. I called the salon immediately, but she had already closed. Mortified to walk around with uneven, bleached hair after spending $175 and dropping her a $40 tip, I went to another open salon. The staff and clientele at that salon were horrified. They could not believe that I spent over $200 for the service. They fixed my hair for almost half of what I spent at Genesis, and it looks 100times better. They took photos for me as well. When I returned today, Tuesday (my visit to Genesis had been on Saturday), Francesca told me she couldn't refund me for the money. Not only that, she offered me a half off special for the next highlighting job. I explained that I did not want to pay for another expensive job. As the salon owner, I thought this was quite unprofessional. She then said it was kind of her to keep her shop open to do my hair because she would have closed had I not walked in that day. Also, Francesca does not have a way to access her voicemail when she is not present at the salon and told me that her way of rectifying the situation was calling me this morning (3 days later). I'm deeply disappointed in her unprofessionalism and the fact that she just profited from my poor experience with no remorse simply arguing with me. $300 later and I will never return there again and recommend that you NEVER GO HERE. Lacking talent, a conscious and poor business practices,  you can spend $200 and come out with a great cut.
