Genesis Hair Salon, Mobile, Al Problems with Product / Service Mobile Alabama

10/17/2017 2:45pm appt with ****************** at Genesis Hair Salon. I was not aware a student/associate would be working on me until after color had been applied. This gave me no choice other than to do as asked. The student/associate applied a color glaze and shampooed hair though never did under neck. She was also asked to finish a blowout style which she didn't do. I was left with a wet head. After the very fast not sectioned color and cut. I was taken to desk then asked to come back again as there were stray hairs. It was difficult moving through a crowded work area, 9 stations sometimes with 3 people. A new massage chair was in center. I was afraid I might trip and fall. While I was in back my husband paid bill. When I left I asked husband how much it was. He said $143 including tip.

It was the fastest hair color and cut I've ever had. My husband called to try to speak with owner. A female called back and said **** would not be able to do my hair as before. The new student/associates were there to assist with shampooing and finishing. But that's not how things went. Assoc mixed and applied product and blew dried hair in an unexperienced way. My bangs were cut very short, not asking length I'd like. **** was in a huge hurry, I felt uncomfortable sitting up front with product/foils in hair. Visible by visitors and the unpleasant oder was remarked on. I felt bad for those exposed to it. Husband called the next day asking for owner.

On Friday 10/20/17 a ***********, desk manager called. Husband wasn't available, he was in chemo. He said there's a solution (no offer made) was rude about husband and didn't want to listen to what happened. Told me to have **** doing work as before, would cost $300. He hung up on me. This maybe be because they are a summit salon solutions, which is how stylist is promoted. Leaving client with impression its accredited. I think **** is now teaching new student/assoc. I saw no license posted for Assoc. There was in very small print cost goes up. ******* confirmed
